Bradleys Of Harrogate

My wife and I bought our wedding rings at Bradleys - 2 gold rings with diamonds ... and a price tag to match! After 2 years my ring cracked, releasing the diamond, which was lost. 'It's clear the ring has been badly treated' was the response - and gone was the charm and warmth I experienced when we bought the rings. Reluctantly I paid to have the ring repaired (costing 100's) on the understanding it was strengthened. 18 months later - the same thing happens - with the same blank response. This is a ring that I always remove to play sports and is treated with great care - yet apparently it's entirely my fault that it's broken again. Frankly, I'm appalled by the accusatory attitude taken by Mrs Bradley who's shown not a hint of understanding of my position.

Waste disposal from Commercial Recycling Ltd I have used commercial recycling for waste disposal (Canford site) & waste collection (Skip & Grab bag). I found the staff very helpful and their recycling facilities were really good. I would have no issues recommending them for waste managment ..commercialrecycling.co.uk

Used Kirstie at Piece of Cake to make my daughter's 18th birthday cake, at very short notice. The cake, the service and the way in which Kirstie dealt with everything was fantastic and such a pleasure to get such superb service. Would recommend highlly. Mrs M Flannery

Horsforth Heating

Terrible customer service, do not recommend using this company. We had a boiler installed by Horsforth Heating in April 2011 and there was a minor problem which caused water to drip from the overflow pipe outside. This was causing damp and mould on the exterior wall so we asked the company in May 2011 to fix the problem. They didn't know what the cause was and had to attend on numerous occasions to try and fix it. Every time they came it would take weeks or even months for them to return and try something else, they always insisted that the problem was due to faulty parts and replaced lots of things. This lasted from May 2011 until February 2012 when we finally had to call in another company to rectify the situation. The other company diagnosed in 20 minutes that the system hadn't been installed correctly and fixed it in hours. I emailed the other companies invoice to Horsforth Heating asking them to cover the costs but despite phone calls and emails they have not even responded so we are now having to take legal action to recover the costs. I can't believe how poor the service has been from a small company where we are dealing with the owners directly. Nobody should have to wait nearly a year for a minor problem to be fixed.

DHF Builders - Home Extensions Nottingham

DHF builders were one of the local companies I recieved quotes from when cosidering modernising my kitchen & laying new flooring. I was happily surprised with the competitive quote from DHF and equally felt comfortable discussing my requests with the builders. The work began on the agreed date and the builders ensured mimimal disruption to my families lifestyle & homelife. Completion was again on time and I was advised and informed of all decisions and progress along the way. The quality of the kitchen is excellent and the finish is to a very high standard. Each area demonstrating superb craftsmanship. The solid wood flooring completed the new kitchen and we were so impressed that we continued the wood flooring throughout the downstairs of our home. DHF were only too happy to complete this for us. Finding local reliable builders is often difficult but with DHF, i'd be happy to use them again and recommend them.
