  Absolutely delighted with our Clearview Stove and the professional service provided. The first review did concern me but I contacted the makers of Clearview Stoves who only use The Stove Gallery in this area and are very particular about the reputation of their stoves and service providers. The service from start (survey) to finish (fitted and even lit the fire for me) was outstanding. My husband and I even bought our kiln dried wood from them we've been so pleased. 5 star service. The 2 guys who fitted the stove were lovely. Beautiful professional fit - good job done! Dust sheets were laid and the fire hearth scrubbed afterwards. What more can I say. Give them a call and see for yourself. - We are not being paid for saying this! Just very happy customers happy to set the record straight.   This reviewer does not give his full name or indeed his proper address as we have never fitted a stove in West Tanfield. After mush research I believe I have tracked it down to an installation in North Stainley. Very aggressive customer who “knows his rights”. Resume as follows: Fitted stove with boiler to existing pipework, however a couple of joints at back would not seal properly and were weeping, returned and re fitted joints but still joints dipped. In the end elected to order new boiler from the manufacturer and fit that, which we duly did. Each time we kept his system up and running, we booked appointments at his convenience, and I believe gave exceptional customer service. Customer then refuses to pay bill until he has screwed a huge discount from us for “inconvenience” he never really suffered.

  Use this company at your peril. Fitted a stove over 2 months ago and still not fit for purpose as described by a government agency 'Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982'. The company have the worst customer relations i have ever come across and in my view appear to be totally incompetant at fixing problems after fitting. Save your money!!! and believe me you'll save on stress and inconvenience and the one star rating isn't by choice!
