It's an unfortunate fact that Viruses and Internet based scams are on the rise.  So for all of you out there that are not sure how to defend against these threats, here are a fews wrods of wisdom.

1. Firewall and Anti-Virus/Anti-Spyware

Make sure you have all of the above, the more protection you have, the less likely you are to fall victim to Internet Intruders.

2. Stay off unsafe site

Sites offering illigal or dubious content are usually unregulated and therefore you cannot trust the information or that the downloaded items are what they say they are.

3. Emails requesting personal information or change of password.

It is easy for someone to disguise an email to look like its from your bank or from any other establishment that you deal with.  If you ever receive such an email from a company, follow these few points to reduce the risk of getting your details robbed.
